As the holiday season begins, one powerful partnership is making sure nurses — the heartbeat of healthcare — feel the love and appreciation they deserve. Moxie Scrubs, the first direct-to-consumer lifestyle brand for nurses, has teamed up with Lovepop, the beloved pop-up greeting card company, and Nurse.org media to launch a nationwide “Thank a Nurse” campaign.
The campaign kicked off at Grand Central Station in New York City on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, transforming the bustling commuter hub into a space for kindness and connection. Visitors were invited to stop by the Lovepop store, write a heartfelt message of gratitude, and drop it into the bright red “Thank a Nurse” mailbox — each card destined for a nurse working through the holidays.
A Moment of Gratitude for Those Who Give So Much
For the thousands of nurses who spend holidays caring for others — missing family gatherings, dinners, and rest — this campaign offers something simple but profound: a “thank you.”
Local nurses joined the event to share their stories, giving commuters a firsthand glimpse into the compassion, exhaustion, and humanity behind the profession. “Every day, nurses show up — on holidays, overnight, and through crisis — with compassion and resilience,” said Moxie Scrubs founder and CEO Alicia Tulsee. “This campaign is about giving some of that care back.”
Each participant who wrote a note received a Lifelines Aromatherapy pen as a small gift of appreciation. Local nurses who attended were also gifted special thank-you packages from Moxie, filled with thoughtful items from CeraVe, Copper Cow Coffee, Lovepop, and Lifelines — small comforts to bring a moment of joy during their long shifts.
A National Effort to Uplift Nurses
While the main event took place in New York, the “Thank a Nurse” activation is also happening at Lovepop’s Disney Springs (Orlando, FL) and Disney Anaheim (CA) locations. Across the country, people can take part in the campaign — writing personal notes that will find their way to nurses in hospitals, clinics, and care centers during one of the busiest times of the year.
Inside the Lovepop stores, colorful displays of intricate pop-up cards set the perfect backdrop for a message of gratitude and hope. As more and more cards fill the mailbox, the campaign is becoming a visual testament to the collective appreciation felt for nurses nationwide.
More Than a Campaign — A Reminder
The “Thank a Nurse” initiative goes beyond a simple holiday gesture. It’s a call to remember the emotional and physical toll nurses face — and to remind the world that behind every pair of scrubs is a person giving their all.
As Tulsee put it, “Gratitude matters. Even a simple thank-you note can remind a nurse that what they do truly matters.”
Through this partnership, Moxie Scrubs and Lovepop are proving that compassion — much like nursing — has a ripple effect. One small moment of kindness can spark many more, especially in the season of giving.
